LiTEFORM - Submission of final report

Follow up of all patients concluded in October 2019. 

From this point, the team worked hard to ensure all the data had been entered into the database correctly, so that analysis could begin. 

The data was handed over to the statistical team, who worked on analysis starting early 2020. 

The report, detailing why and how the trial was done, what the results of the trial were, and what these results might mean, was then written up, and sucessfully submitted to the funder (NIHR) on 31st August 2020. 

We are now waiting for the funder to review the report, before it can be published. 

A link to the published report, as well as a lay summary, will be posted on this website as soon as it is ready.

We would like to thank all of the patients who took part in the trial, all of the site staff who's efforts allowed the trial to work, and all the writing team for working together to meet the deadline.
